Songwriting guide
Build lyrics and sound direction before your next Suno generation.
Develop a song idea, compare hooks and prepare original lyrics with performance direction and a Suno-ready style prompt.
Start with a scene or feeling
Try: “A late-night pop song about walking past the apartment where we used to live. Keep the verses close and restrained; let the last chorus admit why I keep coming back.” Develop the point of view and compare hook directions before committing to a full lyric.
Give lyrics and style different jobs
Keep the words and sparse section-level performance cues in the lyric. Use the style prompt for genre, instruments, vocal character, arrangement and mix direction. TrackDraft prepares both as editable text. Review what changed before generating audio.
Take the draft into your music tool
TrackDraft develops the written song. Suno or another music service produces the audio. Use the available export or bridge controls, or copy the lyrics and sound direction yourself. TrackDraft does not generate a finished audio track.
